These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dashuri by J website and your purchase of products from us.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced in them.

Dashuri by J is the name of our online store and brand, operated as a proprietorship by Anil Menon alias Adithya, registered under the legal name ANILMENON.

Products

Dashuri by J offers handwoven South Indian textiles and related products.

Our products are individually crafted and may have natural variations associated with handloom weaving and handcrafted production. Such variations are part of the character of the product and are not necessarily defects.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information are accurate. However, colours displayed on different screens may vary slightly from the actual product.

Product Availability

Products are subject to availability.

Because many of our products are limited and individually crafted pieces, an item may become unavailable after an order is placed. If we are unable to fulfil an accepted order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.

Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order is subject to our acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where there is an apparent pricing or product information error, suspected fraudulent activity, or an inability to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

Prices, Taxes and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes will be displayed as required at checkout.

Shipping charges, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed for dispatch.

Shipping and Delivery

Dashuri by J currently ships within India only.

Orders are normally dispatched within 1 business day after payment confirmation. While some orders may be dispatched on the same day, our formal commitment is to dispatch within 1 business day.

Dispatch time refers to the time required for us to prepare and hand the order to our shipping partner. It does not represent the delivery time.

Indicative delivery times after dispatch are:

• Chennai & Tamil Nadu: 1–2 business days
• South India: 2–4 business days
• Rest of India: 3–7 business days

These are indicative transit times and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Orders are fulfilled through our logistics and shipping partner network, which may include Shiprocket and its associated courier partners.

Shipping charges are:

• Orders of ₹15,000 and above: Free shipping
• Orders below ₹15,000: ₹300 shipping charge

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Dashuri by J does not accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind requests, preference changes, or purchases made in error.

We do not offer exchanges.

Claims relating to damaged, defective, missing or incorrect products are handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy, including the applicable claim timeframe, mandatory unboxing-video requirement and resolution process.

Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.

Mandatory Unboxing Evidence

Customers are strongly encouraged to record the complete unboxing of every Dashuri by J order.

A continuous, unedited unboxing video is mandatory evidence for claims relating to damage, defects, missing contents or an incorrect product.

The recording must clearly show:

• The sealed package as received
• The shipping label
• The package being opened
• The contents being removed
• The product as received

The recording should begin before the package is opened and should continue through the unboxing process without cuts or edits.

Any claim relating to damage, defect, missing contents or an incorrect product must be reported to Dashuri by J within 24 hours of delivery.

Please retain the original packaging, shipping label and all packaging materials until the claim has been reviewed and resolved.

Claims and remedies remain subject to the Return & Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

Resolution of Approved Claims

Where Dashuri by J determines that a claim is valid, we will provide a replacement with the same product, subject to availability.

If the same product is unavailable, we will provide a refund for the affected product.

For an approved claim, Dashuri by J will bear the reasonable return shipping cost.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where applicable. The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

Custom and Special Orders

Any custom or specially commissioned product will not be eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind or preference.

Any claim relating to a defective, damaged, incorrect, missing, or materially non-conforming custom or special order will be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not use the website to engage in fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or otherwise harmful activity, or to interfere with the operation or security of the website.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, accounts or data.
